It's a facile--and inaccurate--assumption that Hispanic voters have uniformly liberal views on immigration. Yes, they want the Dreamers legalized and more generally a way for those illegal immigrants already here to have a way to stay here legally. But they are also quite concerned about border security.
Check out these new data from Pew from their National Survey of Latinos. And note that naturalized US citizens among Latinos are particularly concerned about border security issues--indeed these are their top immigration issues.
